Coach booking

Important points to note:

  • To make a reservation, you must be registered as a passenger and logged in. To register as a passenger for free, see below. Note that this is NOT the same as joining the Supporters’ Club (£5 per season).
  • You can only book within the designated window for your “passenger status” given in the trip information below. This is to ensure that regular passengers have priority.
  • You may book for other people if they are of similar passenger status – usually that they normally travel with you on our coaches. Please give the name of anyone for whom you are booking.
  • Reservations may be declined if made for someone outside of their passenger status window.

There are no refreshments on board but there will be a toilet.

On the way to Birmingham we expect to stop at services, probably Oxford at around 3.00 pm for 45 mins.  Coming home, there will be little fast food available, so we will stop only for a brief toilet break of no more than 15 minutes.  Therefore, if you want  full meal, have it on the way up or at the stadium.

We will likely be back in Hove in the early hours, at around 2.00 am. Please be sure to have a means of travel home from wherever you are dropped off.

Accessibility

On the way to Liverpool we expect to stop at services, probably Warwick at around 2.15 pm for 45 mins.  Coming home, it will be late at night and there will be little fast food available.  We will therefore stop at a service area only for 15 minutes or so - time to stretch legs, use toilets and buy something from the shop. If you want a hot meal during the day, have it on the way up or in Liverpool.

We will likely be back in Hove around 3.30 - 4.00 am, but this is dependent on overnight road closures.  Please be sure to have a means of travel home from wherever you are dropped off.

Accessibility

Coaches drop off and pick up in Arkles Lane, which is virtually adjacent to the stadium. There is a very short walk to the turnstiles of no more than a quarter-mile (and very slightly uphill).

This is a very long round trip of nearly 700 miles, so we will have two stops at service areas in each direction.  On the way to Sunderland we are likely to stop at Northampton (M1) or Peterborough (A1) for 45 minutes, at around 8am.  We also envisage stopping at Wetherby in Yorkshire for perhaps 30 minutes before the final approach to Sunderland.

Coming home, we anticipate another stop at Wetherby for 30 minutes - enough to get food etc - and a shorter break at Northampton/Peterborough to stretch legs, use toilet, shop etc.

We anticipate arriving back in Hove at around 1-1.30 am, but this may be affected by overnight road closures.  Please be sure to have a means of getting home from wherever you are dropped off.

Accessibility

Away coaches park very close to the stadium and there should be no problem with accessibility.
