Coach booking

Important points to note:

  • To make a reservation, you must be registered as a passenger and logged in. To register as a passenger for free, see below. Note that this is NOT the same as joining the Supporters’ Club (£5 per season).
  • You can only book within the designated window for your “passenger status” given in the trip information below. This is to ensure that regular passengers have priority.
  • You may book for other people if they are of similar passenger status – usually that they normally travel with you on our coaches. Please give the name of anyone for whom you are booking.
  • Reservations may be declined if made for someone outside of their passenger status window.

There are no refreshments on board but there will be a toilet.

We intend stopping once in both directions on this lengthy journey to Lancashire.  In the morning, we are likely to stop at Warwick services at around 9.45 am for 45 minutes.  Coming home, we intend stopping at a convenient location for around 30 minutes - time enough for food, toilet, etc.

We anticipate arriving back in Hove at between 11.30 and midnight.  Please be sure to have a means of getting home from wherever you are dropped off.

Accessibility

Away coaches usually drop off in Belvedere Road BB10 4BE, leaving a short, flat walk of perhaps a quarter-mile to the turnstiles.  After the final whistle, coaches usually pick up in Harry Potts Way, by the exit from the stand.

We do not believe that we will have enough passengers for a 19½ hour day trip to Newcastle to make economic sense.

When we ran this trip as a test in May 2024 we had just 25 passengers and lost a considerable amount of money (for which we had budgeted). Based on that experience we have budgeted not to travel this time, preferring instead to give our members and other passengers lower fares on our other trips. Good passenger numbers have allowed us to do this.

We did run to nearby Sunderland recently, but the circumstances were different. As we had not played at the Stadium of Light since 2005, we were confident of having a good number of passengers and budgeted accordingly - but we have not done so for Newcastle.

If you wish to travel to the Newcastle game by coach, we therefore recommend that you book a place with Albion's official fan travel partner Seagull Travel.
