Coach booking

Important points to note:

  • To make a reservation, you must be registered as a passenger and logged in. To register as a passenger for free, see below. Note that this is NOT the same as joining the Supporters’ Club (£5 per season).
  • You can only book within the designated window for your “passenger status” given in the trip information below. This is to ensure that regular passengers have priority.
  • You may book for other people if they are of similar passenger status – usually that they normally travel with you on our coaches. Please give the name of anyone for whom you are booking.
  • Reservations may be declined if made for someone outside of their passenger status window.

We expect to stop for around 45 minutes on the way to Coventry, probably around 10.30 am.  On the journey home, we expect to stop for 30 minutes at around 5.30 pm.

There will be a toilet on board the coach, but no refreshments.  Please bring whatever you need with you.

We would hope to be back in Hove at around 8.00 pm. Please be sure to have a means of travel home from wherever you are dropped off.

Accessibility

Coaches drop off and pick up directly outside the South Stand away turnstiles at the Coventry Arena.  There is no problem with accessibility.

Priority booking is given to regular and recent passengers on the following dates:

  • Level 5 - Wednesday 08 July
  • Level 4 - Saturday 18 July
  • Level 3 - Tuesday 21 July
  • Level 2 - Thursday 23 July

Fares are due a few days in advance of travel by bank transfer - you will receive an email inviting you to pay.  (We can take cash on the day if necessary).

We expect to stop at Warwick services on the way for around 45 minutes, probably around 2.30 pm.

Coming home, it will be very late with little fast food available.  We therefore intend to stop for a short time only, probably at Warwick again but only for around 15 minutes to get us home as soon as possible.

There will be a toilet on board the coach, but no refreshments.  Please bring whatever you need with you.

We would hope to be back in Hove at around 3.30 am. However, it is possible that overnight road closures could affect our journey.

Please be sure to have a means of travel home from wherever you are dropped off.

Accessibility

Away coaches drop off and pick up in the stadium car park, leaving a very short walk to the turnstiles.  There is no problem with accessibility.

We have decided not to run a coach to Sunderland this season.

Towards the end of last season we did run there. We were sure that many supporters would want to visit a venue at which we had not played since 2004. By budgeting for the trip throughout the campaign we were able to absorb a hefty loss of nearly £900 in carrying 43 passengers on a 700-mile round trip.

This season we do not anticipate demand being so high - been there, done that! We have opted instead to try to maintain low fares for our members to other destinations in the face of rising coach hire prices.

We therefore advise you to book with Seagull Travel, Albion's official travel partner, for this game if you wish to travel by coach.
