New coach booking system launched
The Supporters’ Club is pleased to announce that a new online booking system for its popular away coach service is now in operation on its website, bhasc.com.
Accessible via the “Coaches” option on the menu, the new system allows passengers to book for themselves and their regular travelling companions, with emailed confirmation of reservations.
Any passenger making a booking online will need to complete a one-time registration form first.
In order to give priority for regulars, passengers will be allocated a “Passenger Status” – a level reflecting recent and regular travel on an objective, points-based system, in the same manner as Albion’s loyalty points scheme for match ticket sales. Thus booking windows will open at different times, allowing passengers to book according to their priority level.
Acting travel organiser Tim Carder said:
“This new facility is a great improvement on what we have had over the past two seasons. It should make booking a good deal easier for passengers – and for the travel organiser!”
With ticket sales for the Manchester United trip on sale from 01 August, and Aston Villa from 15 August, Tim urged those looking to travel on the popular coach to make sure they are registered.
“It doesn’t take long to sign up. We will allocate you to your appropriate passenger status as soon as we can, and then you can book when the window is open for your particular passenger status – level 5 for regular travellers down to level 1 for new fans who wish to join us.
“Spaces are limited – in fact, you will be able to see how many remain – so be sure not to leave things too late.”
Registration and other booking information is available at bhasc.com/coach-booking.
